Thank you....

I have so much to be thankful for! I just need to make sure I say it out loud every once in a while. My wonderful husband has been so helpful while wrapping up the last few days of school. Thank you baby for helping me move my classroom yet again...and helping take the kiddos. You are always so willing to help in any way and always do it with a smile. I love you and appreciate you more than you know. Sorry I don't always say it, but I have thought it.

Thank you to Shawnee Trail! I cannot believe I am leaving it again! So elated for the opportunity to open a new school and going back to kindergarten (my true love) but going to miss my friends, mentors and kiddos at my stomping grounds:). You have all taught me so much more than you will ever know.

Thank you to Kin and Kale's teachers! What a hard thing to drop off your babies for the 1st time ever....Kin's teachers have loved her like nothing I ever imagined. We were so blessed and thankful of how well she loved her school, friends, teachers and routine! I cannot wait for her party and splash day tomorrow. She gets to wear her swimsuit to school so she insisted on sleeping in it. We caved, you have to pick your battles and that was one I was willing to give her a little control on;). Kale has grown so much there but I know he will be the one super excited to stay home with Mommy for the summer....Cannot wait for the relaxation and chill this summer will bring. Here is a pic of Kin and Kale's 1st day at Preston Kiddie Kollege...will post more tomorrow so you can see how they have grown.

What a Day....

It has been a LONGGGGGG but productive one! I feel like I have accomplished so much and am on my way to bed, but had to stop and write;). Today marked finishing report cards, finishing up defensive driving (what a beating) and grading writing samples for the end of the year. Now I can concentrate on packing my room. It will be a long week for the kiddos at PKK but I cannot wait to have them all to myself by next week. Kin's teachers have said they are having a party for her on Friday along with Splash Day...she will be on Cloud 9. Until later...good night, peaceful rest, and a whole new day awaits in the morning!!!!

As this weekend comes to a close...I think about all we did and all we saw! We had a fun filled weekend with Uncle Wadey coming in town. On Friday night...Kinley had to wait up for him she was so excited. We had a relaxing Saturday at the park, snowcones, tour of new schools, naps and then the boys headed to the Rough Riders game for a night out! That just gave Mommy and the kids a date with the Penrod girls. The kids had a great time playing and ate A LOT of blueberries. Sunday morning we headed to church, had a great lunch and awaited the arrival of more family fun. Dandy and Popi made a stop on their way home from a high school reunion, and the Edgar's headed over for dinner too. Kinley and Izzy were dressed up and running around in no time. My favorite was overhearing Izzy say...I love my cousins. How precious. Thank you all for making our weekend such a special fun family time.

Heading back to school this week for my last 4 days! I can smell summer around the corner. I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my kiddos, family and friends. I know they invented summer for a good reason and it is REALLY time for it to get here!
I am so elated right now! I have wanted to create a blog for so long and got some time this weekend to figure it out. I love taking pictures and doing "something" with them. We used to keep up with a babyjellybeans website and after that was done I had no where to post. I, like everyone else have facebook but wanted something more intimate and personal. Writing is such an expression in so many ways and I am looking forward to using this as our families journal in the future. As I begin posting I was thinking of what all I could say. I was going to "introduce" myself, but feel if you are reading this you probably, hopefully know about our family. I think I will just jump right in and begin journaling! Happy Reading and thank you always for stopping by. It means you care about what our family has been up too:).
