A Whole new World...

Well, it has been so long since I have been on here. It was one of the things that I did not have time for this past fall and winter. I am so excited to now have time to document all of the adventures we are about to embark on as a family. WOW! Our family is relocating to Atlanta Georgia! I never dreamed I would live in Atlanta, in fact I don't think I have ever really considered living anywhere else other than Texas. Ready or not, here we go. Surprisingly enough I am excited about the new advenuture. Our family had not ever been here before so we took a long weekend trip there a couple of weeks ago. The kids had fun, enjoyed the indoor pool, the American Girl check-in and the Georgia Aquarium. The kids did wonderful on the plane ride and were such good listeners. Atlanta was beautiful even in the winter...I cannot wait to see it this spring.

Moving is always such a rollercoaster of emotions. Here are the wonderful points about us moving here: I get to stay at home with my babies again, we will have extra space in our basement for guest, we will be close to nature with mountains, lakes and monsterous trees, we have a mission in a church - we just don't know what it is yet and we will really bond as our family of 4, being closer to Mimi and Grandad, and being closer to the Koppang Family! There are some cons, but lets just not list them and keep positive. I do have to add with that being said, we will miss our family and friends tremendously! We know all our paths will cross again and hopefully often. We had so many wonderful goodbyes as we left Texas! In fact I am pretty sure I can not cry anymore this week. My eyes are swollen still and my heart is just now lifting from its heaviness!

Today, Brandon and I woke up in Meridian, MS and are headed into Atlanta! We are going straight into two elementary schools that Kin could be attending next fall. We are going to ask for a tour and see what kind of feel we get. The schools are in a neighborhood called Bridgemill. It is in Canton, GA. We will come back to Canton tomorrow (if we like the schools) to "househunt" and possibly find a home. This afternoon we will get into our Corporate Apartment and then we actually have dinner plans with our dear friend, Thomas. He is in Atlanta for business. Cannot wait to see what these next couple of days hold for us!
