Mommy goes back to work...OFFICIALLY!
So I have really been working since August 2nd every day but today marked the day when my contract hours truly began. I have had such a great summer spending time with the kiddos, family and friends. I am really looking forward to my new school, new team and being back in Kindergarten. I can already tell such a difference of getting the kids 2 mins. away and then 3 mins. in the other direction. I feel so blessed God led me on this path for this year and brought about this positive change. Like I said before: This year is going to be a good one, this years going to be a good good one! Whoo-Hoo. This is a pic of the kids and I this morning before we all left for school.
Weekend FUN!!!
We had such a fun family weekend this past weekend! When we were at Preston Kiddie Kollege Kinley loved her teacher Ms. Alicia and her daughter Alicen. She has continued to baby-sit for us since we left there. This weekend Alicia and Alicen came over on Saturday night for a playdate. The girls made pizza, got a pedicure and had so much fun. Poor brother cannot wait for his boy cousins to get here and play some boy things with him. The other pics are of Kin's new favorite sport...baseball! She actually makes contact with the ball, that amazes me! There is also a pic of Brandon with the kids watching the rain fall yesterday and bringing our 90 degree cold front! Enjoy...

Perfect Day for a Princess....
I had decided after the kids started school this month I was going to take each of them for a special day with Mommy. I had wanted to take Kin to Hawaiin Falls all summer and had not gotten around to it... so I tagged along with some season pass holders for the full tour (thanks Cathy and Laura). Kinley and I had so much fun. Her favorite part was the lazy pool (lazy river)! She would have gone around in circles all day if I would have let her. We will for sure be going back there sometime soon.
After leaving HF we headed to the mall to pick up a new pair of school shoes. She saw these "Twinkle Toes" and fell in LOVE! She came right home, put them on and kept them on until bath. After bath she put them back on with her jammies. That night at bed time she put the new pair of shoes back in the box and slept with them by her bed. The next morning she carried them downstairs and had NO TROUBLE getting ready for school. She could not wait to show her teacher, Ms. Amber. Her Mimi and Grandad should be so proud!!!!!

Frisco Trails Montessori Here We Come....
After the kids have attended their new school for 3 days now, I feel very comfortable with our decision for this year! Kin has really attached herself to Ms. Amber and Ms. Ajenta. She seems to like being the class helper. She has so far liked the Teeth Brushing Game and Tonging (working with tongs and small objects I guess). Kale has been studying the frog life cycle and LOVES the frogs that are being housed in his class right now. Kale is still crying when I leave him, but it has gotten less each day according to his teacher. It is so nice to have them literally 4 minutes from my school and 2 from our house. I got a feeling...Whoo Hoo...that this years gonna be a good one....this years gonna be a good good one!

Celebration for Ella
Family Fun Day at the Zoo

We wanted to take the kiddos to do something fun before they started back to school on Monday morning....so we headed in the 100 + degrees to the zoo. We got there early so it really was not that bad out. Daddy had the great idea for us to take the Dart down to the zoo. The kids liked it, I thought it was a little shady but we made it to and from. That is all that really matters. Kale loved the elephants and train. We have had several people at different times mention how hung up he gets on a word. I would love to know how many times he has said elephant and train since then. I love that he is working so hard to get the words right! Both of the kiddos took a pony ride on Scout the horse. Kin is obsessed with horses right now so she was REALLY excited about that. It was such a perfect day. I am so blessed to have the family I have and the time we spend like that is so precious.
