We wanted to take the kiddos to do something fun before they started back to school on Monday morning....so we headed in the 100 + degrees to the zoo. We got there early so it really was not that bad out. Daddy had the great idea for us to take the Dart down to the zoo. The kids liked it, I thought it was a little shady but we made it to and from. That is all that really matters. Kale loved the elephants and train. We have had several people at different times mention how hung up he gets on a word. I would love to know how many times he has said elephant and train since then. I love that he is working so hard to get the words right! Both of the kiddos took a pony ride on Scout the horse. Kin is obsessed with horses right now so she was REALLY excited about that. It was such a perfect day. I am so blessed to have the family I have and the time we spend like that is so precious.
