Kin's Exhibition Night at School...

We all attended Kinley's Exhibition Night at school this month. It was a time for her to show her family what all she "works" on during a school day. I must say I was impressed at some of the things they are learning. She told us her favorite work is in the pratical life center. She gets to practice pouring, sweeping, sorting laundry and more. In these pictures she is using tongs to move marbles to help with fine motor skills, working with sand paper letters and the letter sounds, pouring from one glass to another and tracing some shapes. Her teachers mentioned she would rather "work" than nap during nap time:(. It is all coming to an end I am afraid! I am so proud of her accomplishments and hard work this far.

Some of my favorite things she has told me are:
Mommy: Kin hand me your cup please.
Kinley: Mommy it is called a glass or a tumbler.

Kinley: Mommy we have a globe at our school...do we live on North America the orange one or South America the pink one?
Mommy/Dandy: We live in North America.
Kinley: Dandy do you live in North America with me?
Dandy: Yes I do...do you know what the blue is on the globe?
Kinley: Yes, Dandy it is all the water. Do you live in Texas too?

It amazes me the little sponges they are!

Spring Break 2011...

We have been so busy that I have not had much time to update our blog in a LONG time. We have had Dandy in town, Mimi and Grandad made a visit and then we headed on the road for our exciting Spring Break. The kids had a jammed packed vacation and so much fun. We started out in Rockport visiting Aunt Sis, Uncle Kyle and the boys. The weather was beautiful, scenery breathtaking and kids running around galore. We went on a boat ride, to the Aquarium, went to the beach and had a lot of fun family time. These kiddos are growing way too fast. They are all such good kids. Thanks Sis and Kyle for putting up with us:). We had such a great time and are looking forward to coming back. We then hit up Dandy and Popi's house. We got to spend time with cousin Alyssa, Cade and Kristopher there. We went to the radio as Kinley calls it (the rodeo), saw Dora in 4D at Moody Gardens and had fun playing. Mommy got to have dinner with Khristina, which is always such a treat! We always have such a hard time leaving Houston, but will get to see Dandy and Popi for Easter this year. Hopefully Uncle Jordie and Aunt Bree too:). The last part of our Spring Break ended with Mommy having her Girls Night with all her girlfriends! So much fun to have a big ol slumber party:). 1st Taste....

of Mommy's favorite...Cadbury Eggs! I was so excited to introduce the kids to this little piece of heaven:). They really enjoyed them too. Daddy seemed to like the new carmel one I got for him.

I am behind on posting, but had to put this important note on here. Tomorrow we celebrate a very important day...Brandon's Birthday.
