Busy Time of the Year...

but we are loving every minute of it. We had Dandy and Popi here for Easter, got to celebrate a fabulous girls Birthday, Jules and took a trip to H - town (not under the best circumstances...praying for the Courtney family) while Daddy headed to good ol' Cali to see Uncle Wadey! We have been busy during the week with work functions, kiddo stuff and more! It is ALMOST summer;). I cannot wait to spend more time with these crazy loves of mine. Which brings me to today and what an amazing Mother's Day it was! I have a pretty special family who worked super hard to make me feel so special. I spent a whole day with my little princess on Saturday doing all the girly mani/pedi, lunch at Olive Garden and shopping! I have waited for this all of my life and she is now old enough! Sunday was spent going to church and learning about God's love and because of his love all is possible, taking a bike ride to a creepy pond, hitting up the playground and a yummy dinner with the family. Here are some pics to catch you up to date. We will start with Easter and then blog the others:).

This year at Easter the kids got to release butterflies at the end of the service which was very neat. We also made a special breakfast with "Resurrection Rolls". It was meant to teach the kids how Jesus was put in the tomb and later they went back and he had risen. We put a marshmallow inside of a crescent roll, after we baked it the kids bit into it and the marshmallow was gone. It was cute. After church we had a Lent feast with all the fixings of chips/nachos and sweets. Dandy gave up chips, Daddy sweets and Popi and I gave up Facebook for the Lent season.
